CARING FOR YOUR MAISON LE LOU PRODUCTS
Maison Le Lou collars and leads are manufactured from the finest leathers. Slight variations, irregular grains and blemishes are part of the uniqueness that constitutes leather. They are not to be treated as flaws, but as inherent and beautiful. The natural dyes used in the vegetable tanned leathers can cause colour change under UV light. The leather will naturally soften and darken with use.
To care for your leather, avoid getting it wet whenever possible. If the leather should get wet, blot any excess moisture with a tissue and dry flat and away from a heat source. If the leather gets very wet, slight colour transfer may appear on paler furs but this will only be temporary. Should mud get onto the leather, wipe away with a warm damp cloth and leave to dry flat away from a heat source.
We recommend protecting the great quality of your Maison Le Lou Leather product with Renapur Leather Balsam. The balm cleans, nourishes, conditions, restores, polishes and helps waterproof leather, restoring original softness and extending the life of your leather.
The formula of natural waxes and oils, such as Beeswax, Carnauba wax, Jojoba oil and Avocado oil, has really stood the test of time – used by millions of people around the world since 1988. A little goes a long way.
The balm is non-smelly, non-sticky, non-greasy and non-slippery the Renapur Leather Balsam is absorbed into the leather and won't transfer off onto your clothes and is completely safe to humans and animals.

WARNING:
Renapur Leather Balsam, Leather Cleaner and Hi-Shine are for use on finished i.e. smooth leather only. Do not use on suede, nubuck or fully aniline type leather.
Renapur may darken some types of leather, especially if it has faded over time and with wear. If in doubt, always test on a small concealed area first.
METAL HARDWARE
All our metal fittings are from Italy and are of high quality plating and finishing. By the nature of plated metal, the fittings can lose colour and shine with repeated use.
